Writer, Head of Gaming Hardware

Christopher Harper is CGDirector’s Head of Gaming Hardware.

As a hardcore gaming and hardware enthusiast since the age of 3, it was an inevitability that Christopher would seek to combine the two into a career. Since 2012 (when he was 16 years old), he’s been writing about technology for various clients around the world. This began as ghostwriting on platforms like Zerys, but eventually evolved into him writing under his own name for sites like MakeTechEasier, AddictiveTips, PCGuide, and now CGDirector.

Over time, Christopher has learned to specialize in many different areas. Owning a Sony Xperia Play encouraged him to explore handheld emulation, and eventually custom Android kernels and operating systems when the device stopped being supported. Building and repairing PCs and laptops for himself, friends, and family members allowed him to further advance his skills and knowledge while he was still in his teens.

Christopher’s journey as a tech-head and writer has yet to reach its end, and as long as the space continues to change, his journey and his passion for it likely never will.
