Hello,

This is my first PC build. I'm currently using Blender and Zbrush. And I also want to learn Maya, Unity or Unreal. I am still quite unsure though if my build has any compatibility issues or I should change for better / cheaper parts. My budget is $1500-$2000 USD

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
Be quiet Dark rock pro 4
MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200
Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM
SSD NVMe M2 PCIe SSD XPG ADATA SX8200 PRO 512GB M.2 PCIe SX8200PRO
CORSAIR RM750 - 750W 80+ GOLD FULLY MODULAR
MSI GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8 GB GAMING X
Phanteks p400a

I would love your feedback on this build.

Thank you! 🙂

Your parts are all compatible to each other an I see no issues whatsoever :) That build will perform nicely in Blender and Zbrush and will be able to easily run maya, unity and unreal too.

Of course, depending on the Render Engines you are planning on using, having an even stronger GPU would get you shorter render times in cycles gpu, redshift, octane, arnold gpu and would also get you more FPS in unreal and unity.

But you could think about a GPU upgrade in the future if you don't have that kind of money to spend right now. (I am looking at a RTX 3080)

Hi Alex! Thank you so much. I'm glad that this build can working just fine. And another question. Will this pc go well even if I'm using dual monitors? I have a plan to buy 2 monitors. BenQ PD2700Q 😊

Hey Claire, absolutely :) You can use 2 monitors with that GPU, no problem!

Do you mean the RTX 2060 and the i7 9700k? They are both compatible to each other, yes. You'll need an LGA1151 Motherboard and will also be able to add the Patriot Viper Elite RAM 16GB.

Alex, Jerry, could you guys recommend me a good monitor? I want IPS, 27", 2K. I like benq pd2700q. But I don't like the bezel 😁

Take a look at the Dell P2720DC, 27", which is about the same price, and has almost the same kind of features, but a thinner bezel :)
