Hi I want to build new PC AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or 5 5600X (up coming). Presently working on 4th Gen Intel i5. My work is light rendering, video mixing and 3d imaging.
Kindly suggest new build compatible for my requirements. My budget with in $1500. Some of my friends advice to go for Ryzen 7 3700X or 5 5600X. But I am seeking your suggestion. Thank You.

The 3700X is a good pick at that price point but you'll probably be able to get even better. Here's a build suggestion that you can use as a base:

CGDirector.com Parts List: https://www.cgdirector.com/pc-builder/?=yb1yg0z0Iqg

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8GHz 12-Core Processor ($429.99)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 ($89.90)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC ATX AM4 ($179.00)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660TI 6GB - EVGA XC Gaming ($259.99)
Memory: 32GB (2 x 16GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 C16 ($109.99)
Storage PCIe-SSD: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB NVME M.2 Solid State Drive ($134.99)
Power Supply: Corsair CX Series CX450M 450W ATX 2.4 Power Supply ($69.99)
Case: Fractal Design Define R5 Black ATX Mid Tower Case ($123.99)
Total: $1397.84

If you think you'll need more GPU performance, you can always get a cheaper CPU like the 3700X, and upgrade the GPU to e.g. a 2060 Super.

Hope this helps, let us know if you have other questions.

Thank You very much Alex! Some questions I have to ask for clarification: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X is apt for rendering, editing and interior designing purposes than Ryzen 7 3700X?
Regarding Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 is it "be quiet! BK021 Dark Rock 4 CPU Cooler Fan 135mm (200W TDP)"
In amazon.in 4 coolers are there with variant TDPs.This creates some confusion.
Kindly suggest another good GPU up to cost $550.
About Mainboard: Asus Prime X570-P/CSM AMD AM4 is not ok to this cpu?
PSU 450w is enough to run all these components? Kindly suggest another cabinet model to this build. With Thanks.

The 3900X has 4 extra cores and clocks higher than the 3700X, so it is more powerful for workloads like rendering, editing and interiour design.

The Cooler is the BK022, the Dark Rock PRO 4.

See if you can find any kind of variant of the 2060 Super or even 2070 Super, which should still be withing your limit of 550$.

You can get the Asus Prime X570-P, which is fine for that CPU, but if you don't necessarily need any x570 features, the b550 might be a better deal.

You can get a stronger PSU if you want, though the 450W would be sufficient. If you like you can get a 650W or 750W PSU so you can do some upgrades in the future without having to worry about getting a new PSU.

In addition to what Alex said, do note that Nvidia will soon release the RTX 3070 at the same price as the RTX 2070 Super, and it does look like it'll be a lot faster. I'd recommend holding off on GPU purchases if at all possible.

Thank You Very Much Jerry for your concern.
Your suggestion is very helpful to me. I will wait for up coming G.Card.
Among the variety of GPU s available in the market,as a designer what are the crucial technical considerations to be minded while selecting good GPU for my basic interior designing, rendering & editing works?
Which factors from CPU,Motherboard.RAM & PSU would decide the performance of graphic processing? I'd be thankful for your clarifications.
