I have recently completed my animation and GPU rendering build which I am happy with but need some further advice regarding my current build, which is linked here:
I noticed that my RTX 3070 is great with live render view and rendering stills but is quite slow with dynamics and rendering sequences (I am thinking this is because there is only 8GB VRAM), so I am looking for any expertise with what I could do to adapt and upgrade my machine in the near future to help with this. I understand you can not bridge the newer 3000 series graphics card, so would it be advised to use multiple older generation NVIDIA cards so I could bridge them and use a dual or quad GPU setup? Or should I be looking to upgrade to a 3080? At the moment I'm not sure this is the right card to be using for animation but am not sure on the alternatives at a similar price point. Any help regarding this is very much appreciated as I am not super clued up on PC hardware.
