Custom build for animation

Hello,
I am looking to build a computer for my boyfriend who is an animator. At this time, his older model mac is not cutting it when it comes to rendering time. I am looking to build him something super fast that can handle rendering for the various 2D & 3D software he uses. Specifically, Adobe Creative suite, C4D with Arnold, Redshift, and Octane.

Below is the build I am thinking about doing. Please let me know if there is any compatability issues or if I am missing something. Thank you in advance for your help!

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 3.5GHz 16-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC ATX AM4
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB - MSI Gaming X
Memory: 64GB (4 x 16GB) G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200 C16
Storage PCIe-SSD: Sabrent Rocket 1TB NVMe Gen4 M.2 Solid State Drive
Power Supply: Corsair CX Series CX550M 550W ATX 2.4 Power Supply
Case: NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case

Hey Rachel,
The build you decided on will perform nicely in rendering and active 2d/3d workloads. Because he uses Redshift and Octane though, you might want to increase the possible GPU rendering performance a bit, though, by getting a slightly stronger GPU. (If you have the money for it)

Right now the Nvidia RTX 3080 is one of the best GPUs for these kind of workloads, the only downside is that it is pretty much out of stock in most regions. It should go for about 799, so don't give into price inflation.

If you can't find a 3080 in stock anywhere, the above 2070 Super is still pretty neat and will blaze through most renders in no time.
