Hello, could I please have some advice, my computer is for Maya 3D Animation

CGDirector.com Parts List: https://www.cgdirector.com/pc-builder/?=6MJyR

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 3.4GHz 16-Core Processor ($749.00)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 ($84.90)
Motherboard: MSI X570 Tomahawk ATX AM4 ($261.90)
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3070TI 8GB – EVGA FTW3 Ultra Gaming ($1354.99)
Memory: 64GB (4 x 16GB) G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 C16 ($364.99)
Storage PCIe-SSD: Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 2TB M.2 Solid State Drive ($271.03)
Power Supply: Seasonic Focus GM-650, 650W 80+ Gold Power Supply ($67.77)
Case: Fractal Design Define R5 Black ATX Mid Tower Case ($144.90)
Total: $3299.48

There is a note on it that says : Compatibility Note:
– High-Profile RAM might require slight CPU-Fan up-shift

Any changes I would need to make?

I thought that less cores was better for Animation

No issues at all :)

The number of cores doesn't matter too much for animation, but the 5950X has the best single-core performance of any AMD CPU as well so it's an excellent pick at this budget.

PS. Try finding a cheaper graphics card locally if possible.

Yes I usually find it worth it if there's some flexibility wrt what I want to buy. If you CAN wait, definitely wait and watch. But if the wait is affecting your work, I'd say it's not worth waiting.
