Gaming and Engineer modeling, Best Build for First Timer!

Hey there!

I am new to this whole PC building thing and I've been wanting to build a PC for my boyfriend as a Christmas present this year. He games (more specifically R6Siege) and is an engineer so he will likely be using software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks and Inventor. I am trying to find a relatively affordable build that is decent enough. I don't know of a budget that is considered "low" or "affordable" so I would also need some guidance there. I used the PC Builder and when asked of what the primary use was, I had put 3D modeling & Animation, which I was unsure if that was the right descriptor? Regardless, here is what was suggested, and I wanted to know if someone with similar usage of their workstation would recommend this build. I'm not thinking about upgrading anytime soon, and I am in the U.S so I would be buying parts here (or elsewhere since a lot of stuff in general is shipped from overseas?). I really appreciate you're help!

The build looks good to me overall. The GPU is overpriced but we are already used to that. The case is quite big, which is nice for expanding lateron, but isn't entirely necessary if he'd rather want something more compact.

The one thing that you'll have to find out, is if he needs specific pro-level features in his engineering apps like realview in solidworks etc. Such features need a Pro-Level GPU such as a Nvidia quadro.
