GPU alternative for 3D modeling/rendering

Hello,

I've gotten everything for my build besides a GPU. I was planning on getting a RTX 3070 but am considering alternatives with the stock issue. Are any of the soon to be released AMD ones comparable and would work with this build? I will use it primarily for 3d max/vray and adobe programs. More concerned about rendering but still need to be able to model some complex geometry.

I'm also, at this point, willing to look at all GPU options but don't know how to find something that would work for my needs when it's usually geared towards gaming. What should I look for? Any other recommendations?

CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5900
CPU Cooler be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4
Motherboard MSI X570 Gaming EdgeWifi
RAM G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 64GB (2 x 32GB)
PCIe-SSD Samsung (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe
PSU Corsaire 750W

Thanks!

What applications are you using? Most professional software plays better with NVIDIA cards.

For Vray in 3dsmax you should definitely stick with a CUDA capable Nvidia GPU. AMD is not supported in most vray versions. GPU prices sure are crazy at the moment ..
