Hey people- here is a build. I do a lot of CPU rendering and am interested in incorporating GPU into workflow. I also work with heavy files in 3D for animation and modeling. How does this sucker look? I’ve been trying to get 3090 for months with no luck- ready to pull the trigger on an alternative.

CPU: AMD Threadripper 1900X 3.8GHz 8-Core Processor ($203.92)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 TR4 ($89.90)
Motherboard: ASRock X399 Professional Gaming ATX TR4 ($429.00)
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080TI 11GB - Asus Turbo ($1399.00)
GPU #2: Nvidia RTX 2080TI 11GB - Asus Turbo ($1399.00)
GPU #3: Nvidia RTX 2080TI 11GB - Asus Turbo ($1399.00)
Memory: 64GB (4 x 16GB) G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 C16 ($364.99)
Storage PCIe-SSD: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB NVME M.2 Solid State Drive ($109.99)
Power Supply: be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 1200W ATX 2.4 Power Supply ($341.01)

It's a great GPU Render Node. Not all that fast for active workstation use, but if you're just looking to have an additional pc to offload rendering to, TR + a bunch of GPUs is always a good idea.

Yeah, GPUs are hard to come by right now, it sucks!
