Heating issues with the RTX 3080

I've heard alot of RTX 3080 models having heating issues so far. Has anyone experienced this?
I am contemplating what parts to get as I am looking to purchase a customer PC build for gaming, video editing and photo editing.
Basically some future proof setup would be epic.

I have 2 3070s in right now and no heating issues, although I have a lot of cooling and a very open case with all around venting. They do put off a lot of heat.
