Hello. I want to change my video card (1660 Super) to a new RTX 3080. I work in Cinema 4D on a Redshift render. My computer is now R5 3600, 16 RAM with a power supply of 600 watts (be quiet 600w +80 gold) please tell me. Is this reasonable, or do I also need to change the processor? (sorry for the English )

Hi,
If you never use usb-c for charging, have only one or two hard drive, very little amount of fans, and never overclock the cpu and/or the gpu, the 600w power supply could eventually be sufficient but is not "officially" recommended. A 750w min power supply woud be preferable.
If you want to keep the 600w power supply, it would be better to choose a rtx3070 or 3060ti card.

With an R5 3600 you're bound to the AM4 platform and it will depend on your motherboard how any PCIe lanes you have available. What Motherboard do you have? If it's a motherboard capable of driving two GPUs, be sure to have the RTX 3080 on the topmost slot.

The b450 A PRO MAX has supports two gpus, but the second one will only run at pcie2.0 x16 bandwidths, which is probably ok-ish for the 1660 super. But you should make sure to have the 3080 on the topmost pcie slot for best performance.

If you just want a single 3080, then yes it will work with your motherboard. Top slot and you're good to go.
