Help: Better Rig for rendering and modeling using corona and 3ds Max

Hi,

can you help me decide which among these setups is better, best and why? pc for rendering and modeling using corona and 3dd Max

setup 1: i7 8700, 1060i GPU, 64gig RAM, 128Gig M2, 4TB HDD

setup 2: i7 10700, Zotax RTX 2060S super mini dual, 16gig dual DDR4 3200 crucial Ballistix RGB White, 256gb Patriot P400 SMI 2263XT, 1TB WDC Blue

setup 3: i7 10700F, zotax RTX 2060 Twin Fan, 16gig Dual DDR4 3200 ADATA xpg D41 RGB, 1TB WDC Blue

I'd say setup 2 should be the best, though if it does only have 16GB of ram that might become a bottleneck. Or do you mean it has 2x16gb? Same with the setup 3, which is also great, but again, 16gb of RAM is not much.

Setup 1 does have a great amount of ram but the cpu and gpu are somewhat weaker.

thanks alex! im also not sure of the ram.. i just copy pasted the recommendation by the local rig builder. another question, whats the consequence of having gtx 1660ti when paired with AMD 3900x?

They are compatible, if that is what you mean. No problems there. The 3900X is on a slightly higher tier and would be paired better with a 2060 super or 2070 super, but the 1660Ti is not a bad GPU as long as you are not doing heavy gpu rendering it will work well for active 3d work.
