I have a MacBook Pro that I use for editing on the run but I need something more powerful for graphics and light animation. I'd buy a Mac Pro but they're too expensive. Understanding that this is a PC, how does this setup compare to an M1 Macbook Pro?

In most workloads, this build will be much faster. That said, the GPU is overpriced due to stock issues in the market. Check out local retailers and see if you can find better graphics cards at the $500 price point.

Thanks Jerry. Do you mean the CPU or GPU? Because the GPU is around the $500 price point.
