So I used the PC Builder with a price limit of 1300$, my CPU as Intel and my GPU as NVidia set for video editing like it said I should for gaming, and then it said to go to the forums and ask what might need changing for a gaming PC. I humbly ask for someone's guidance on this situation!

Hey Adrian,

Could you paste the build you got here? I can suggest tweaks then :)

I would definitely swap out that 9700K. What price are you getting that one for in your region? And how're the prices for a Ryzen 5 3600 or an Intel Core i5 10600K? Will need a GPU bump as well.

What's the difference between them? Also, the ryzen 5 3600 is around 350 US Dollars and an intel 15 106000k is 267 US dollars. the intel i7 is 269 dollars

In that case, I'd go with the i5 10600K. The 9700K is a last-gen part, which limits the processor upgrades you can drop into that motherboard. It is also only an 8-core, 8-thread part. The 10600K is a 6-core, 12-thread processor and should age marginally better than the 9700K.
The motherboard can be swapped to one of the best value/budget recommendations here - https://www.cgdirector.com/best-z49...eneration_Intel_CPUs_(10900K,_10700K,_10600K)

That should leave you enough room in your budget to swap out the GPU for an Nvidia RTX 3060Ti or a 3070 (depending on what you can find available in your region).
