Investing in a complete new desktop set up

I'm a mild DIY enthusiast, looking to invest in a new set up that will last for about 6 years and handle my architecture programs and my daughter's art and audio evolution.
I have built a rig before, but it's been a while. Likely I'll tweak and overclock hardware initially and then will leave it be, unless I change hardware/software.
Revit is the main driver of my minimums, but there are also some audio and gaming demands.
I used the custom system builder on this webpage and at Newegg to start.
I referenced system recommendations for the various programs and input devices I plan on using.
I also check in at Dell and Puget, https://www.pugetsystems.com/recommended/Recommended-Systems-for-Autodesk-Revit-171/Buy_194
I also looked through reviews at Tom's, Cnet, and Amazon.

Here's where I have landed, any comments or questions I should be asking would be most helpful,

System minimum requirements:
CPU - i7 10th generation
Cooling - best for final configuration
Mother Board-best value per chipset and priorities
GPU- assuming 1, but am open for a 2x set-up. Revit rated may mean a Quadro RTX. If not then I am aiming for a RTX 3080 +/-, but could be talked down
RAM-32GB min, expandable to 64 min, assume newer MB specific versions.
Main Storage-M.2 500GB SSD, 1TB preferred
Secondary Storage- 1 TB min, M.2 and/or SSD preferred. back-up or Raid discussion?
Power-min to cover initial install without maxing out, enough for expansion
Case- big enough for initial install, room for expansion
Other- Willing to pay for better: acoustics, power efficiency, advanced inputs, quantity of inputs, cooling. Gamer case or LED's are non-deciders

Initial Build and accessories Draft #1:
CPU-i9 10850K
Cooling-Deepcool Castle 360EX AIO
Mother Board-Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Master
GPU-PNY Nvidia Quadro RTX4000 (maybe a Geforce RTX3080 card, not certified by Revit, but probably still OK)
RAM-Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x32GB DDR4 3200
Storage-3x Adata XPG Sx8200 Pro 1TB SSD, PCIe connections
Power-EVGA supernova 220-G5-X1 850w
Case-be Quiet! PRO 900 full tower
Monitor-LG 24" Ultra 21:9 3440x1440 IPS, G-sync
Speakers-Presonus E3.5" pair studio monitors
Keyboard-Logitech Ergo K860 wireless
Mouse-Logitech Ergo MX Vertical
audio connector in lieu of any additional cards, Focusrite Scarlett Solo
headphones-Sony MDR7506 headphones

Buying in the US.
Trying to get full shopping list, (including any misc pieces for install) under $4,000.00

Accessories I forgot,
1 internal optical drive - BD/DVD/CD read/write
Power strips - initially thinking 1 solid surge protector for most components, quality commiserate to the full build + 1 entry level power conditioner for the A/V components

Hey Jeremy,
Wow nice work and sorry for the wait. Here are some notes:

From what I have seen of the new Ryzen CPUs, they are a must in a futureproof system. I hope those benchmark scores will look the same after we've had our hands on some review samples, but it's looking very good.

An Nvidia 3080 too is a no-brainer right now, but hard to get by. Might have to put in a preorder and see how long it takes to become available.

Really don't see any issues with your build list right now, I'd say you are on a good path :)

Thanks,
I am a little bogged down tracking through some finer details:
1. Ensuring power supply connections and voltages match up best with the motherboard
2. Checking to see that RAM and SSD's are on the good list of the motherboard maker
3. Any thoughts on what the effective difference is between the RTX line vs the Quadro line of GPU's. I use various Autodesk products, but they only seem to certify the Quadro or Radeon Pro lines.

That's the difference: Certification :)

You'll get official support from autodesk if you use certified gpus. Does this mean certified gpus perform better? No almost never :D

Unless you are using Solidworks or some highly optimized app for pro gpus, there is no reason for buying a Quadro vs a much cheaper RTX / GTX GPU.

Hi Jeremy
That looks like an awsome machine, would you mind sharing the cost?
Many thanks

Refined and current pricing per Amazon/Newegg. I took out my A/V specific items.

What install items am I missing, cables, thermal goo, etc.?
More fans or cooling components?
Is 850w enough power? don't want to overtax it and want room for minor additions.
opinion on heatsinks with SSD's o223.99r is MB enough?

CPU- Ryzen 5900X - $549 (per AMD)
Cooling-Deepcool Castle 360EX AIO - $139.99 (amazon)
Mother Board-Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master -$339.99 (amazon)
GPU- (any) Geforce RTX 3080 - $769.99 +/- (newegg)
RAM-Patriot Viper 2x32GB DDR4 3600 -$234.99 (amazon)
Storage-2x Sarbrent PCIe 4.0 1TB SSD - $159.99 (newegg)
Power-EVGA supernova 220-G5 850w - $182.83 (newegg)
Case-Fractal Design Define 7, solid - $154.99 (newegg)
Monitor-LG 34" Ultra 21:9 3440x1440 IPS, G-sync - $849.99 (amazon)
Keyboard-Razer Huntsman - optical keys + wrist rest - $110 (amazon)
Mouse- Deathadder V2 w/ goliathus mouse pad - $110 (amazon)
1 internal optical drive - Pioneer BD/DVD/CD read/write - $70.95 (amazon)
Power strips - Surge protector for CPU components APC P12U - $34.07 (amazon)
All under Window 10 64-bit Pro OS - $149.99 OEM (newegg)

That's about $3500 + anything missing.
