Is there a case that can fit a 4090 and a 2080ti?

So I got a 4090 and my original plan was to get a case that could fit both my new 4090 and my old 2080Ti but nope. This 4090 is a MONSTER! I have not found anyone that can confirm there is a case that can house both. Alex, what are your teams thoughts?

Which 4090 Model did you get exactly? :) Should be plenty of cases that'll fit it. The length is what's most important, and this is also generally listed in the spec sheet of both the GPU and any case product page you can inspect online, to make sure it'll fit.

Of course, now, both GPUs at the same time, you'll have to make sure you have a motherboard with the PCIe slots far enough apart to fit both and not choke airflow to either, + you'll need a motherboard that has a good amount of pcielanes available to drive both.

What're the rest of your components?

I got the MSI Gaming Trio and I have a case that fits it, but I want a case that fits BOTH cards. I want to put the 4090 AND the 2080Ti in it. this case will not fit both and I haven't seen anyone do a build for more than just the 4090 alone.

My components are the following:
CASE
Motherboard
CPU Cooler
PSU

One case that might do it is this or this but I'm not sure.

Afaik, nothing fits an ideal dual GPU config with an RTX 4090 sadly. Your best bet would be something like a Corsair 7000D Airflow or 7000X.
The ideal way to go about this would be to grab a 2-slot watercooled RTX 4090 and then add another GPU without any hassle

I'm on a similar quest. This site here is selling a fractal define 7xl with 2 4090's. Myself I'm split between the Corsair 7000D, the define and the meshify 2 xl..
Any thoughts? :)

Corsair 7000D, the define and the meshify 2 xl.
I'm a Fractal design fan at heart, so I'd be pretty biased here :p But honestly, any of those options should work pretty well so no wrong answer here.

I have the Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL (first time user of Fractal) since 2 months. It's a very good case ! There are some pictures in the thread "Building Aircooled dual 4090".

The only thing I could consider a flaw, is the inability to remove the powershroud.

@Quad Yes I saw your thread, fantastic build!!!
I wonder how much hotter the second gpu would have gotten with the PSU in place..

I'll never know. But on the bright side, even with an increase in memory-temperature of 10 degrees, I would still be happy. It would be well within the safety-margin of the GPU's.
