Motion Design and Video Editing PC

Hi!
I want to migrate from Mac to custom build PC and would like to have some advice.
I work in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and sometimes C4D. Would like to use octane and Redshift after migration.
I was looking for a balance between price and power.
I would like to hear any recommendations on how to optimize this setup.
In the future, I'll add more SSD and HDD, maybe 3080 or 3090.
Thanks
Here is my build: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/JJ3KZZ

One more thing. I've found that MSI GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8 GB VENTUS and MSI GeForce RTX 2070 TRI FROZR 8GB have the same price. Which one should I choose?

The 2070 should be slightly faster and has more CUDA Cores, so at the same price, that's the one to get I'd say.

If you'll add a 3080 in the future you should think about getting a stronger PSU now, as 650W for dual gpus, especially with a power hungry 3080 / 3090 is not feasible.

Also, I am not sure the B550 is the best choice for a dual GPU setup, you should look into X570 here.

Thanks for reply!
Any recommendations for the motherboard?

If you want to shop within a lower price range, you should look into the ASUS X570 TUF Gaming or MSI X570 Tomahawk. But if you see yourself upgrading to multiple RTX 3080 caliber GPUs before making a processor change, the MSI X570 Unify is usually my go-to-recommendation for a premium rendering build.

Thanks for your advice!
I decided to take ASUS X570 TUF Gaming + WiFi. This mobo on sale now for 220 CAD.
And finally found EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 Super SC Ultra 8GB for 570 CAD.

The only uncertainty is SSD and Nvme drives. Don't know what to choose.
I would like to have, as you advised one drive for OS + Apps. And another for cache and working projects.
I don't want to spend more than 200 CAD now for drives. I'll add more storage later.
I have a few ideas on how to do it:
1. WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB SATA 90CAD + WD_Black SN750 500GB 90CAD = 180CAD
or
2. 2 WD_Black SN750 500GB NVMe 90CAD = 180CAD. With this configuration will be hard to update storage. 2 Slots of m.2 will be used.
or
3. ADATA SU655 480GB 3D NAND 2.5 inch SATA III 60 CAD + Samsung 970 EVO 500GB NVMe M.2 130 CAD = 190CAD

What do you think?

Also, I can't understand why Samsung SATA and NVMe have the same price?
For example:
Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SATA up to 550 MB/s sequential read and 520 MB/s write = 130 CAD
Samsung 970 EVO 500GB NVMe M.2 Internal SSD with read speeds up to 3,500MB/s = 130 CAD

Well, the cost usually boils down to demand to be honest. There's a limit to the number of M.2 devices you can use on motherboards, and then you're likely left with unused SATA slots to add more storage. Professionals go for EVO for the better type of flash storage that is rated for a much higher read/write life with a longer warranty than other options. So, if you want an EVO SATA, stuck paying the premium for it 🤷‍♂️

I would go with option 1 for storage if you want the best value.

@Alex Glawion can probably chime in if there's anything I'm missing :)
