Hi Alex, thanks for your time! I use my workstation mainly for C4D/Redshift (mostly still images/design) and I'm looking to upgrade my PC with the new 30 series graphic cards. I'd like to know which parts I can upgrade first so I can be ready to upgrade when I get them. I'm flexible with my budget, and I will be shopping my parts in the U.S.
Here's what my current workstation looks like:
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
Motherboard - ASUS Prime Z390-A Motherboard LGA 1151 (Intel 8th and 9th Gen) ATX DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 USB 3.1 Gen2 Gigabit LAN
Ram - Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 2666 C16 Desktop Memory Kit for DDR4 Systems
Graphic Card - ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 8G Turbo Edition GDDR6 HDMI DP 1.4 USB Type-C Graphics Card (TURBO-RTX2080-8G)
2nd Graphic Card - ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 8G Turbo Edition GDDR6 HDMI DP 1.4 USB Type-C Graphics Card (TURBO-RTX2080-8G)
SSD- Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)
2nd SSD - SSD- Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)
Power Supply - be quiet! Straight Power 11 1000W, BN621, Fully Modular, 80 Plus Gold, Power Supply
Case - Fractal Design Define XL R2 Titanium FDCADEFXLR2TI Grey
System - Windows 10 Home
Also another question, I know there isn't a blower style cards yet for the 30 series graphics cards, would it be okay to stack two of them together? Or am I better off just going with one gpu build?
Thanks again for reading my question, and let me know if anything doesn't make sense!
