Need Help

Hello everybody,

I ‘m from Morocco and I’m student in a design school ( 2nd year). I’m traveling to France next week for 3 weeks and I planned to buy a new Laptop. The laptop (MacBook Air) I bought last year is slow and outdated. I have to buy a new one and I hesitate between different models: Gaming Laptop or Workstations. Can you help me to do my choice?
I usually work on “Rhino 3d, Blender 3d, la suite Adobe avec por example Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign"…

Hey Zati,
If you don't need mobility, then a stationary workstation would grant you higher performance at the same price point.

If you do need to travel or go to classes with it, then there's no circumventing a Laptop.

In that case you might want to read a few of our laptop guides for more info. Blender for example makes heavy use of the numpad, so if you do lots of blender modeling and viewport navigating, a Laptop with a numbers pad might be crucial.

These are all things that might rule out one Laptop or another.

From just a specs viewpoint, of course the 5900HX with the 3070 will be superior to a 3050Ti. But other factors might be important for you as well.
