Hi everybody,
I need to change my iMac mid 2011 and i look for an assembled pc with possibility to upgrade in future.
Considering the gpu crisis I don't wanna spend some "ridiculous" price for new rtx.

So I did a list of components. The budget is less 1700€ without monitor

First workload is for graphic design / and motion design with Adobe suite and seconds 3d and animation with blender and visual with Touchdesigner

AMD Ryzen 5600X 270€
RAM 32 GB VENGAENCE CORSAIR 3200 VEN K4 C16 - 229€ or KINGSTON 3200MHZ 64GB - 405€
MOTHERBOARD - MSI B550 A PRO 120€
POWER <25DB 100% BEQUIET PURE POWER 11 (80+GOLD) 87€
SSD 256 NVME - 100€ + HD 3TP 7200 70€
CPU COOLER - TERMALTAKE RIING SILENT 12 PRO - 19DB 100% - 56€
NVIDIA GPU QUADRO PNY PP2200 460€ (to upgrade in future?!?!?!?!? hope!?! )
NZXT H510 mid tower windowed - 140€

Thanks :)

That graphics card might hold you back if any of your work involves GPU rendering. For comparison, it should be right around the performance of a GTX 1060 that released quite a few years back. Did you try finding pre-built options that give you a better graphics card?

That said, yep you should be able to upgrade to a better GPU without any issues as long as your PSU can deliver enough power. For reference, the recommended wattage for a 3080 is 850W.

All the other components look fine to me :)

Thank you very much Jerry!
But does the p2200 is good for editing/viewport mode in any software (after effects/premiere/blender)? I'm not interested in rendering workstation so if it will be slow in that phase it's not important. Yes I choose a power supply with high wattage for " a possible" gpu change.

:)

I found this pre-built a 1799€

CASE MIDI VERTIBRA Q210 ARGB
- Alimentatore 600W Taurus 80+
- Scheda Madre ASROCK B550 PHANTOM GAMING 4
- CPU AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6 Core 16T 3.7 Ghz (Turbo Frequency 4.6GHz) Cache 32Mb
- CPU Liquid Cooler Enermax LiqMax III ELC-LMT120-HF
- Memorie DDR4 16Gb 3200 CL22
- Hdd SSd M.2 512GB INTEL 660p Nvme
- Scheda Grafica GeForce RTX 3060 12GB
- Scheda audio Realtek® ALC887 8-Channel High Definition Audio
- Scheda di rete Realtek® PCIE x1 Gigabit LAN

and this a 1599€

I mean " active work" follow the Alex's guide for after effects :D

a friend told me about NOCTUA AIR COOLER rather than termaltake or liquid cooler, what do you think?

I second Jerry here. The p2200 is quite slow compared to your other components. Your workloads don't need a PRO GPU so it's much better to get a mainstream GPU. I like both of the pre-built options you linked and the first one with the RTX 3060 is probably the better choice, even when those 12GB of VRAM are somewhat overkill on such a GPU.
