Novice wanting to build powerful 3D rendering and video editing machine

I am a complete newbie when it comes to PCs and building them.

I'm making the switch from Mac to PC and it would be amazing to get some advice or some links to updated builds.



I have been using pcpartpicker but it seems like the Motherboard and video card are out of stock in the UK...

Any advice on good UK online retailers would be awesome!



Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey Sam, have you checked out Scan.co.uk ? They seem to have a pre-order queue going and are quite open about what stocks are coming in and how many orders they need to fulfill. Might be worth a look.

Oh no - i'll check it out! I've pretty much worked out which parts i'd like now.

My budget is around 2K
