Pc advice on Upgrade

Hello,

I am looking for a possibility to upgrade my current system.

Would you suggest overclocking the Cpu or buying a new GPU might help?

My current System

CPU: Intel Core I5 6500

GPU: GTX 970

Mobo: ASRock Z170 Extreme 4

Power Suply: EVGA SuperNOVA 750W Gold

RAM: 4x 4gb

SSD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB

Overclocking: I haven’t overclocked nothing yet. I am open to overclocking

SLI or Crossfire: I was initially planning to for SLI but never got to it, so I am open to SLI

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments:
Prefer decent performance for the cost


And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Having problem running World of Warcraft: Dragonflight – aiming to update the system so it holds the game at 60 fps during Raids

If you're having trouble maintaining 60 FPS, it might be a good idea to look into a decent CPU + motherboard upgrade first. If you aren't playing anything too graphics/CPU heavy like modern AAA games, a Ryzen 5 3600 + B450/B550 motherboard could be a cheap upgrade you can consider.

PS. Also monitor temps using hwinfo to make sure none of your parts are overheating while in raids
