PC Build for 3D modeling--beginner

Hello,

As I said in my title, I am a beginner in both PC Building and 3D modeling. I am a hobbyist and am currently only using ZBrush and Adobe CC, but eventually would like to learn how to develop animations and games using Maya and Unity or Unreal. Though I'm only a beginner, I would like to build a PC that will be robust enough to support animation and game dev. My budget is $1,500 - $2,000.

I tried the "Build My PC" widget on this site using "3D Modeling" as the main purpose which returned this:

CGDirector.com Parts List: https://www.cgdirector.com/pc-builder/?=yb1Dg0z0Imh

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8GHz 12-Core Processor ($395.59)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 ($86.10)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC ATX AM4 ($179.99)
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 SUPER 8GB - MSI Gaming X ($434.99)
Memory: 32GB (2 x 16GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 C16 ($109.99)
Storage PCIe-SSD: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB NVME M.2 Solid State Drive ($118.79)
Power Supply: Corsair CX Series CX550M 550W ATX 2.4 Power Supply ($94.74)
Case: be quiet! Pure Base 600 Black ATX Mid Tower Case ($125.59)
Total: $1545.78

I would love your feedback on this build, especially for intended future use cases in animation and game dev.

My only preference I guess would be aesthetic--I am looking for a sleek glass case.

Thank you!

I wouldn't change too much with this build, Michelle. A couple of notes -

1. If you'd like better upgradability (multiple GPUs for example), you can up your power supply wattage.
2. Don't buy a graphics card now. Nvidia has just announced their 3000 series products, so wait for those releases to drop and benchmarks. We'll be adding them to our PC builder as well :)
