Streaming and Music Production

Hello!

A friend of mine is seeking to purchase a laptop for streaming and music production. He is a DJ and would like to stream his mixes to the online audience as well as use the same laptop to produce music.

Does anybody has any knowledge about this?
What kind of parameters should we be most aware of whilst selecting a laptop? How much RAM and space would we need? All advices are welcome.

Apart from a good Mic and preamp, audio streamig in itself doesn't demand a lot of performance from a Laptop, so any 1k$ Laptop should work just fine.
