Hi,

I need to build a new PC, as mine is getting old now. Processor is from 2011...
My main use will be for doing architectural visualization with Blender Cycles (GPU Rendering). While we all know about the GPU shortage at the moment, I will still continue to use my GTX 1650 Super until I can upgrade to RTX 3080 or 3090.

My budget is around 15 000 SEK (Swedish Kronor) without GPU.

Here is the build :

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core (kr4295.00)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black 55 CFM (kr827.89)
Motherboard: MSI MEG X570 UNIFY ATX AM4 (kr3078.61)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory (kr4416.00)
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (kr849.00)
Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case (kr890.00)
Power Supply: Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX (kr1149.00)

Total: 15500 SEK

What do you think ?

Would the processor and motherboard handle an update later on with dual GPU ?

Thank you in advance

Adrien

I like the build! Yes, the Motherboard supports Dual GPUs at x8 PCIe Lanes. Go for it! :)
