Minimalist style, maximum potentialThe 750D Airflow has a clean, elegant exterior that dispenses with arbitrary plastic add-ons in exchange for the beauty of brushed aluminum and solid steel. This rigid, rugged exterior surrounds a frame that has ample room for high-performance components and the sophisticated cooling you’ll need if you’re going to push those components to their limits. |
High airflow front mesh designThe front panel is what makes the 750D Airflow different than the original 750D. Dual 140 millimeter front intake fans and a low-resistance mesh panel provide quiet, efficient air cooling performance for GPUs and DRAM. |
Modular drive cage systemThe tool-free drive bays can be moved and removed, so you can use only what you need for your particular storage requirements. In turn, you’ll get increased space for components and better airflow potential. |
Fast and straightforward buildsSmart design features and an optimized interior make this a true builder’s PC case. That’s because we believe building a system should be straightforward, trouble-free, and even fun. |

This is not my first build, and I would call myself an somewhat experienced builder, who's too poor to afford to make extreme builds. That said, the Corsair 750D was the easiest and most comfortable build I've ever had. This case is a fantastic option for anyone who wants a high quality case for a reasonable price. The case features a brushed grey metal exterior with standard mic/headphone ports 2 USB 3.0 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports. The only LEDs provided with this case indicate power and HDD/SSD activity(right and left side of power button respectively).
Pros: This case is highly functional, and extremely roomy. I enjoyed working with it. The majority of components have a decent build quality. Also, this case is compatible with most PC mods or additions, making it a solid, lower price substitute for the Corsair 900D. The interior of the case is the most notable part of it. It's roomy and provides both the compatibility and space that both novice and experienced builders can make use of. Also the inclusion of dust filters that are extremely easy to remove makes cleaning a breeze. The fantastic cable management allows you to create a clean looking case. There are rubber grommets everywhere, and my case has never looked cleaner.
Cons: Due to the finish used on the front panel, it scratches very easily (it can be scratched by your nails when turning the PC on). However this problem is mostly aesthetic, as the scratches come off with a little water. The build quality on the side panels leave some to be desired, as they are cheaper and decently flexible. The side glass consists of some sort of Plexiglas that is extremely bendable and feels cheap. The front panel (the part with the Corsair logo on it) is removable, and this presents a problem, as the latches that connect this part to the rest of the case have a tendency to break. This happened to me, but after I filed an RMA I was shipped a replacement exactly 10 days later (at no cost to me). When you add a new 5.25" drive to the front, it doesn't sit flush, and in my opinion, taints the aesthetic of this case. I ended up stealthing my drives, an easy process that you can just google how to do.
Other: This case is very minimalistic. If you want flashy parts covered in RGB lighting and that kind of stuff, then this case does support that, but you would need to purchase these things separately. This is the type of case that wouldn't look out of place in an office, but still provides and appeals to your wildest fantasies without a $400 price tag.
Note: I bought this case on sale for USD $99.99, so at this price point my views are likely to be skewed.
Also, this review was written as of 2 and a half months of purchasing this case and learning what I could about it.
As far as the case itself I love it. It looks very sleek and is made out of fine quality material. It’s huge and pretty heavy but I can’t really deduct a point for that because I bought it knowing that, but just something to be aware of because it is not easy to move if that’s something you need to do frequently, I don’t so it doesn’t matter.
Building in this case was a great experience. This was my first time building a PC so how large the case is made it very easy to work inside of. And there are plenty of routes for cables to be able to hide them and make it look nice.
The one thing that is hard is getting the tool less HDD trays to fit with the HDD installed in them. I believe this is intentional to make sure they won’t move around when the HDD is running. Just something to note that you may need to push pretty hard but it will fit.
As the name suggests the airflow is great. The 3 included fans plus the heat sink fan I purchased for the cpu are more than enough to keep temperatures manageable while gaming. And the fans are all nice and quiet. Once I put my headphones on, even with no audio, I can no longer hear the pc running. Plus the large size means I won’t have to worry as much if I decide to upgrade in the future that parts won’t fit.
Great product, I love the sleek and simple look but that is subjective, and great customer service. I will be a Corsair customer in the future.
The cable routing options are nice, and there's a big enough gap between the case and the back of the motherboard tray that even with a lot of bulky power cables and whatnot routed back there, the case closed very easily without anything getting stuck or wedged. The motherboard and power supply all screwed in nicely.
The 3.5" hard drive mounting brackets are great. The plastic is quite flexible which feels weird at first but it means they won't shatter when you flex them to attach them to drives. The fact that there are so many of them is really nice, as i've seen quite a few cases that are huge but have nowhere to put drives. There are cutouts which make cleanly routing the sata cables easy too, which is great. The three 5.25" mounting bays up top work great too.
The fans pre-mounted in the case are all dead silent, i attached them to a fan controller because I expected noise problems but turns out I didn't need to worry about that. I added two LED 140mm fans on the top which look cool through the screen on the top.
Overall I'm extremely happy with the case. There are a few negatives, but they're not dealbreakers. First, because of the size of the case, the thin steel just seems a little flimsier than I expected. The case as a whole feels sturdy and fine, so I don't think it's a problem but still when I look at some of the pieces they seem quite thin. The other downside is that the 5.25" fan controller I got doesn't quite fit properly with the tool-less mounting. It fits, but I could only put a screw on one side, the tool-less clamp can't be removed and blocks all the other screw holes. This is probably more the fault of the fan controller having too shallow of a mount, and it does still work ok with one screw, but that was the one real problem I had.
In the end, I'm super pleased with this case. I think it'll handle quite a few upgrade cycles, and it really looks awesome without being too obnoxiously GAMERRRRrrr like many cases are these days.

Les cages à disques sont un peut fragiles et les supports de disque se tordent facilement.
The build quality is quite high for a mostly steel case, but not as high as a Lian Li aluminum case per se. It has ample space for cooling, radiators, 6 hard disks, 4 SSD drives, great cable management setup, accommodates a wide variety of motherboards, and runs fairly quiet. Everything is assembled and disassembled with ease, and the case has a lot of airflow. One thing I like is the inclusion of 5.25" style drive bays for those who still have a use for CDs, DVDs, DVDRW etc. as many case designs have axed such features with an eye to the future.
I'm quite happy with this case and may buy another one in spring/summer time for a new AMD Ryzen 9 3950X build I'll be doing. Highly recommended.
I wanted a full ATX Tower - to provide space for any conceivable major, future, upgrade, better ventilation then the old case provided, a design that would accommodate lots of 3.5" and 2.5" drives (I have lots!), and better front panel USB support - preferably with USB 3.0 . Other requirements were for - a reasonable price ~£150 max, lots of space and a design providing for a neater layout of cables.
I read a lot of reviews and looked at lots of alternatives and eventually settled on a Corsair CC-9011078-WW Obsidian Series 750D Airflow Edition. This cost £135. It is a big beastie - bigger than my old case - but I have bags of room so its footprint was not an issue. Indeed, the size is a positive advantage as I found the Corsair case so easy to work with that it took longer to dismantle the kit from the old case than it took to install it in the Corsair.
Everything looked so much neater - the Corsair has various features that assist in cable management. I was so pleased with the result that I went and bought some LED strips to illuminate the case innards and although I say so myself it all looks great.
The case comes with 3 fans and there is scope for adding more. Dust filters seem effective and generally my system (as indicated by "Speccy") is running a few degrees cooler tan hitherto. This bodes well for the possible upgrade to a AMD Ryzen 3900 that I'm contemplating as one possibility (AMD stuff runs hot in my experience!).
There is a decent manual which provides all the information needed. I only had a couple of problems.....a couple of the SATA leads between the motherboard and a couple of SSD's and HD's proved too short with my original choice of location for the drives. This required some re-positioning of the disks but this only took a few minutes to perform.
Criticisms - only a minor one.......the case stands on four feet (these are an integral part of the case). This means the case sits proud of my desk (it is, literally, on my desktop!) because there is an air intake on the base to provide for PSU ventilation. This makes it impossible to position the unit so to overhang my desk a little. This is no big deal of course and I can live with it.
