    Extreme Stability and Overclocking

A 14+2 phase power design implements a larger V-Core than the AMD reference spec so it's able to provide you with more stable gameplay by better distributing power across more VRMs which results in more headroom. This allows the GPU to operate cooler at baseline but also have tremendous room to overclock.

    Complete Thermal Padding

XFX maximizes the cooling effectiveness of our cards by increased the number of thermal padding throughout the card. This includes thermal pads on all VRMs, Memory and GPU on both sides of the PCB board to ensure stable high quality performance.

    Dual Ball Bearing Fans

XFX GPUs utilize double ball bearing structure fans that provide better endurance and efficiency by reducing friction heat which also makes it operate quieter and doubles the lifespan of your GPU fans.

I've almost always bought Nvidia GPU's, MY first GPU was a 3dfx voodoo 2 banshee. first 3d accelerator to have 2d graphics built in, but after that it was always Geforce cards, GeForce 4 ti 4200, GeForce fx 5700xt (have on my living room shelf on display) 6800gts, 8800gtx, GeForce 295 (the dual gpu card, soo over powered at the time) GeForce 480, GeForce 680, DUAL GeForce 970 gtx's, then a 1080ti, then a 2080 super. I've loved Nvidia cards Until recently. DLSS is an upsampling technology that NVIDIA is trying to brainwash people into believing is a good thing. In short, it takes a low quality image and then uses its imagination to fill in what's missing. since it isn't actually rendering those things, the "imagination's" version is bland and is not at all legit looking. Since most games dont USE raytracing to any notable amount, and DLSS is Garbage, I wanted a card that could excel at 1440p High refresh gaming. To accomplish my noble goal of Ultimate gaming Perfection, and to once again laugh at Console gamers who ALMOST got as fast as my pc, BUT NOT THIS TIME YOU CASUALS!! Even the most potent console (the xbox series x) only has a 12 TF GPU.. a 56 compute unit chip that runs at around 2ghz. I knew that I needed to call in the BIG guns. 5.0 out of 5 stars Thoroughly Impressed by the Aesthetics and Performance
Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2020
I purchased this to build my Second computer. I was using a laptop for a long while but finally decided it was time to build. When I received this package I was so excited to open it up. It comes very simply packaged but plenty of foam to protect the GPU in transit. Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the GPU in the box or the side view as I am writing this review after I already built it. Too lazy to take it out. So far I've been playing Apex Legends at a rock solid 165 FPS on high settings. Let me tell you going from a laptop to this made it feel like I wasn't playing a game but watching a movie.

As I've been playing the GPU temps have been at a a stable 70C during game play.

All in all I do recommend this GPU however at the price point it is quite steep. Considering that it is 100 dollars higher than AMD's original version the cooling and construction is definitely worth the extra price. As for comparisons to the 3080 FE I feel that it is more worthwhile to get it but what sold me on this was one I was lucky enough to get it this early after release and two I wanted to take advantage of the resizable bar AKA SAM.

    My specs:
    - AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
    - MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi
    - 32 GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory
    - 2x ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD

5.0 out of 5 stars After an RMA, card is outstanding
Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2020
Edit: Below is the initial review, which was for a card which failed on me in about 4 days.

XFX support was able to, after a couple chats on the phone with them, pull stock for their support to do an RMA. The RMA process was very quick after they received the card (2 days), and the new unit appears to be working fantastic. Card plays Cyberpunk 2077 at Digital Foundry’s “optimized settings” at like 60-90 FPS which fantastic. Even in my 11L SFF case it never breaks ~70C while running 100% utilization.

    Initial review
    ——————
Worked for about 4 days, then started exhibiting cascading black flickering leading to system crashes. Was never stable on Windows for more than 5 minutes after that began.

Drivers reset, BIOS set back to default, new power supply and cables tried, multiple reseats, nothing. Backup card works fine with the system.

Now it won’t even POST past the VGA fault check on my ASUS motherboard. Fans spin, but will never boot to BIOS.

Upgraded from a 2700x and 580 Fatboy to a 5900x and a 6800xt. OMG Bang! I play VR alot. Cyberpunk 2077 60 fps all settings on ultra, smooth as butter! Minecraft VR/ Fallout VR/ and Doom VFR run glitch free 100%. So smooth I got no motion sickness in any VR game played. Alexa half-life was the only game I ran FPS on and it was stable at 120 FPS no mater how fast the movement. If you VR this is for you! BUT it is BIG!!!! Yes super quiet even when using crypto mining in my down time.

Reviewed in Italy on January 22, 2021

5.0 out of 5 stars Leistung der Karte ist echt Wahnsinn, wie der Preis!
Reviewed in Germany on January 17, 2021
