Hi,
I’m a woodworker and I need a Workstation to do architectural 3D modeling. Right now, I’m practicing Rhino 3D and Grasshopper. Besides my work, I am very interested in learning animation. I live in Vancouver (Canada) and my budget is around $3000 (Including Monitor). I’m not looking to upgrade the PC in the near future.
I used CGDirector PC-Builder to come up with some build suggestions:
(If I’m not wrong, Prices are in USD on CGDirector)
CGDirector.com Parts List: https://www.cgdirector.com/pc-builder/?=6NsWr
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 3.4GHz 16-Core Processor ($548.99)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 ($89.90)
Motherboard: MSI X570 Tomahawk ATX AM4 ($137.20)
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8GB - MSI Ventus 2X OC ($379.99)
Memory: 32GB (2 x 16GB) G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200 C16 ($89.99)
Storage PCIe-SSD: Seagate FireCuda 530 1TB NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive ($119.99)
Power Supply: Corsair RMx Series RM650x 650W ATX 2.4 Power Supply ($76.31)
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case ($139.99)
Total: $1582.36
My choice for monitor is BenQ PD2700U 27-inch 4K. Right now is $599.99 on Amazon Canada.
I’m not sure between Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti or Nvidia RTX 3070.
I’m planning to buy my parts on Black Friday, which is in a month, But I have no idea if that is a good decision or not.
I will be grateful for any help you can provide.
