I'm using the PC-Builder, and the suggested ram doesn't seem to be available in Australia

I'm not a massive fan of gigabyte but I found the aorus z690 d on sale below the cost of the z790 g, so it seems like a no-brainer

I'm pairing it with a 13700k
I also read though on this forum mention of people having trouble with ram compatibility with that board.

On that note I've found this for $550AUD:

ADATA XPG LANCER RGB White 64GB (2x32GB) 6000MHz DDR5

AX5U6000C3032G-DCLARWH
ADATA XPG LANCER RGB White 64GB (2x32GB) PC5-48000 (6000MHz) DDR5, 30-40-40, 1.25-1.35V, Dual Stick Kit, Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO, On-die ECC

I can get g.skill Tridents for about $600aud
5600MHZ CL36-36-36-89 1.25V

Any thoughts on the Adata or tridents would be appreciated. Plus is that motherboard still a good buy in 2023?

The motherboard is good, just, as you mention, people seem to be running into memory speed-related issues. If you're going with Intel, you should be able to hit XMP on anything DDR5-6000 and below with most boards (if you aren't going with 4 sticks of memory).

Is this a Z5? Can you post the part number as well.

As for alternatives, you can try finding these -
KF556C40BBK2-64
KF560C36BBEK2-64
F5-6000J3040G32GX2-RS5W

If you can't find any of these either, then I'd just take a gander and pick any.
