Hi there! I'm an animation and VFX student from Malaysia. I'm currently doing my final year project. This is my 1st ever PC build. I'm upgrading from my current laptop which uses i5-7200U CPU. I'm really new to this so it would be great if I could get some feedback!
Budget: Around $2000
Main software: Maya and Substance Painter
Other software: Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Nuke (maybe)
- Uses mainly CPU render
- Planning to only buy 16GB RAM
Should I go for AMD or Intel?
Below is the suggested build from the PC Builder. Thank you!
