Can't get to BIOS on MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk

My self-built PC has an extreme heating problem. Was told to check the BIOS settings, as the default settings may be causing the issue. Problem is, I have never been able to access the BIOS since building it last year. MSI suggested resetting the CMOS, which I've tried by both 1. jumping the JBAT1 pins, and 2. removing and replacing the battery on the board. Neither worked, and still unable to access the BIOS. Any help will be appreciated...Thanks!

What methods are you trying out to access your BIOS?

Thanks for the reply, Alex, but the issue has been solved. MSI service told me my gpu was faulty, so I replaced it. I am now able to access the BIOS by repeatedly pressing 'delete' key during start-up.
