For the last few years, I've been using an old macbook for a variety of creative work. I've decided it's about time that I build a PC that has tech capabilities to keep up with my interests!

I'm very new to PC building and there are a lot of gaps in my knowledge, I've constructed a rough part list based on alot of info from this site as well as a few others but I'd like to hear if I could make any additions or altercations to what I've picked.

My budget is around $4500 AUD (I'm in Australia)
I'm currently working in Blender doing a variety of 3D processes (modelling, sculpting, texturing, simulating, rendering) and I'd like to utilise software like Marvelous Designer, World Creator, Substance Designer and Octane/VRAY for GPU rendering. Additionally, I produce music with Ableton - which can use multi-cores - and would like that to run efficiently.

Ideally, I'd like this PC to be able to upgraded so that maybe in another year I can beef it up a bit more, depending on what's available on the market.

The Potential Build:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X (I'd love one of the 5950Xs or 5900Xs but I can not find a single one in Australia at the moment and no one seems to be sure when they'll be coming back)

CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4

MOBO: MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM4

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory

Storage #1:
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Storage #2:
Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB VENTUS 2X OC (Not hearing alot about the 3060 Ti cards but they seem to be quite a good mid-range option with comparatively better specs than a 2070 Super as well as being available for me right now)

Case: Lian Li O11D XL-X ATX Full Tower Case

Power Supply:
Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Case fans: Corsair iCUE QL120 41.8 CFM 120 mm Fans 3-Pack (Don't really care about RGB, I've just been seeing these fans paired with this case quite a bit, not sure if this would be sufficient for this build or if I would need more - would appreciate some tips on case fans and controllers)

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

CURRENT PRICE: $4092.23 AUD / $3077.26 USD

Monitor: Haven't decided right now, would appreciate a recommendation for something fairly sizeable, sharp and with good colour :/

I'd love to hear from anyone about any changes I could make that could improve the build or decrease the price, thankyou in advance!

Love the build you've put together so far!

It's true and sad that the 5xxx ryzen series is out of stock everywhere, those cpus are a no-brainer to buy, but I too have no ida when they might be back on shelves.

The entire nvidia rtx 3xxx line-up is higher value compared to the previous gen, so going with a 3060ti is a good choice.

Personally I like the quiet fans from either noctua or bequiet (silentwings), they also come without any rgb.

I've been using a BenQ PD2700Q for a while now and can recommend it. Depending on your budget, though, a Dell UltraSharp UP2716D might also be in your range.
