GPU upgrade advice

Hi there, I just got a Nvidia 3090 founders edition to upgrade the gpu of my pc:

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12 Core
ASUS® TUF X570-PLUS GAMING
128GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3000MHz
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER
8GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 super founders edition

I worked in 3D. Maya, C4d, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine. Mainly for the creation of assets, props and recently getting into 3d environments.

currently waiting for the 850W power supply to change cards but I would like to know if I can keep the 2080 with the 3090 working together? Is that posible and in term of performance if it worth it?

If you're doing any GPU rendering, yes you can use both for most render engines. For active work, more than 1 GPU doesn't really help too much.
