h.265 Hardware Encoding a Large Library - Nvidia Card Relative Performance

i am currently encoding a vast library of h.264 content to h.265 using the dos version of nvencc64.exe

since nvencc64.exe primarily uses the gpu, i am considering buying a new/better graphics card. present card is an rtx 2080 ti

can anyone tell me the relative percentage gains [in encoding speed] i might see if i move up to an rtx 3080 ti, rtx 3090 ti, rx 4080 & and rtx 4090 cards respectively?

AFAIK, since it's a hardware-accelerated task, the performance gain fall-off is quite high. It doesn't scale too well within the same generation (or even multiple generations if they're using the same encoder like 20 and 30-series) past a certain point. Here's a production bench from Puget that might help:
