Hi guys,

I am looking to switch working from a MacBook to a desktop, going from Mac to windows again after 10 years (woosh!) since my art practice changed from mostly design and video to 3D. I am looking into builds, but will probably order a build from a website since I don't have so much time to spare right now to learn how to do it myself. I would still love for someone to give me advice on if the list below is solid.

My budget is max 2000 euro, my workload is mainly modeling, secondary (CPU) rendering. (I am using Blender and both Eevee and Cycles but would like to look into GPU rendering in the future).
I am thinking to buy from https://gamingpcshop.nl/gaming-pc/gaming-pc-extreme, (I am based in the Netherlands), since they allow you to select parts.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X - 12 Cores
cooler: AMD Wraith Prism koeler
Mthrbrd: Asus Prime X570-P
Memory: Crucial 32GB ValueRAM DDR4-2666
NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB
Storage: SSD M.2 1000GB Kingston NV1
TP-Link T4U 1300 Mbps WiFi USB
Power: 600 WATT RAIDER PRO GAMING
Case: Sharkoon VG7-W - RGB
Monitor: 27" iiyama G-Master G2740HSU-B1
Windows 11 Home

(this amounts to exactly 2000 euro)

What do you think of the combination of these parts? Anything I should be aware of, any parts I should switch out to others?
Could some parts be switched out to save some cash?

Cheers, thank you,
Pleun

It looks like a good build list that should run your workloads well. A few things: A third-party cooler may net you higher boost performance vs the boxed cooler. The memory should be run at XMP clocks, I hope they didn't build in 2666mhz ram and it's just a typo. The SSD is decent but a faster one such as a seagate firecuda 530 could net you higher transfer speeds at a slightly higher price.
