How good would this be as an all-round machine?

All the key names are in there – AMD Ryzen, Nvidia, Ripjaw, ASUS etc. I'm coming from a Macbook Pro, so trust me when I say just a superior CPU and the presence of a GPU – all those 3rd party render options, and I can finally experience Cycles at speed! – are enough to get me excited.

I'm curious what others think too, but I can give a big thumbs up for this build. In fact my own Workstation consists of almost the same parts. I've got a 2080 Ti though, and a different case (an old one) but it is performing great.

Are you doing mainly Blender 3d / Cyclces rendering? Or some compositing or editing too?

Pretty decent build, I'd say! One small change though! I'd switch out the X570 TUF motherboard for the MSI X570 Tomahawk or the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro if they're available in your region
