New PC Build for Motion Design

Hello!

First off, thank you to everyone on this forum and part of CGDirector for putting this together, this process is definitely feeling less daunting.

So I am a freelance Graphic/Motion Designer and it's finally time to take the plunge for a decent PC and I'm just after some pointers. I heavily use the main circle of Adobe Creative Cloud software, but I particularly need the power in After Effects. I do a lot of 2D vector animation, but I hope to add a lot more effects to my workflow such as glows, blurs, textures, as well as eventually branching out into 3D modelling and animation in Blender/Cinema 4D.

So with a budget of around £2000/$2800, I entered my criteria and got this. As this is all new to me, I thought it would be best to ask here for any advice/recommedations/pointers.

Looks like a solid build to me. Your workloads will run nicely on these components. The GPU is somewhat overpriced, but that's to be expected with the current market situation. You might want to keep an eye out to see if you can find it cheaper, though.

With two storage drives, you can install your OS on the SSD and have your performance-demanding projects and footage on the faster nvme ssd.
