Hello,
I am using my computer for Motion Design and 2D Anymation sometimes also for Photo and Video Editing (Ae,Ps,Ai,Pr..). Right now I am still working on a laptop, still waiting a little bit for GPUs to get a little cheaper to build up my system.. hope this will happen ^^
But I defenetly need a high quality monitor right now, where I´m able to see colours correctly and in high resolution.
I would like to work with two screens, one for previews and to see the final result and one for the software interface. So now this second screen for the interface will be my laptop but in the future I`ll buy a simple 24" monitor or something similar. Rigth now my concern is about the HQ monitor...

I want to be able to see 4K, so I thought 27" might be a little small and it would be better to go bigger..
my budget is around 700€ and I want it to be an investment for several years..

What do you guys think about the LG 32UN880-B ERGO ?

Thanks a lot for taking time :)

The LG 32UN880-B reaches 10bit color through FRC (8bit + 2bit) but for that price that's to be expected. 95% DCI-P3 color coverage is decent. I'd say go look for some reviews from buyers to see if the panel quality holds what the manufacturer promises.

Oh where did you find that information? I was wondering wether it´s real 10bit or 8bit+FRC , well yeah now I see why it´s way cheaper than the
ASUS ProArt PA329C..
hmmm, yes good Idea! I will do that :D Thanks!

You should be able to find detailed specs for most popular monitor models on DisplaySpecifications. Here's the LG one - https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/b9b81f2c (Panel Bit Depth) :)

On that page they also say that the ASUS ProArt PA329C has 8 + FRC
so i was curious and looked up for all the monitors I was comparing and they are all 8 + FRC
might that be right?!

here´s a list of them:

ASUS ProArt PA329C
Dell UP2716D
Philips 276E8VJSB

Dell Ultrasharp U2718Q
BenQ PD2700U
Acer CP5271U VBMIIPRUZX

The first 3 are in the article "Best Monitor for Graphic Design, Video Editing & 3D Animation (Updated)" and there it says they are all real 10 bit... so I am really confused^^

In the tables of that article we don't discern between true 10bit and 10bit achieved through 8+2bit.

ASUS ProArt PA329C - true 10bit
Dell UP2716D - 8+2bit FRC
Philips 276E8VJSB - 8+2bit FRC
