Hello,

this -> https://www.cgdirector.com/best-computer-3d-modeling-rendering/
is great source of information, thanks a lot!

I've decided to build my workstation for archviz - 3D modeling and rendering (Corona).
So I'll go with:

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X
NVIDIA RTX 3070
64GB Kit (4x16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz)
Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 SSD 2TB
...
so my question would be: which motherboard, power supply, cooling and case would you recommend for this config? And is there anything else you would change or recommend? Budget is not a problem, but I tend to make most balanced (value for money) workstation I can get for freelance/self-employed archviz business.

Thanx a lot and Merry Christmas!

Love your parts so far! You should be good with a Corsair 850 PSU such as the RM850. As for the Motherboard, the ASRock Creator TRX40 is often recommended or the Gigabyte Designare ex trx40, especially if you plan on upgrading to more GPUs. As for the Cooling you can either go with a high-end Air cooler such as the beQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 (TR4) or a 360mm AIO such as the Alphacool Eisbaer 360 which I tested on a 3990X already and was cooling nicely. The case really is up to your personal taste. If you'd like some more space in the case, the Fractal Design Define R6 is a good pick.
